Most logos are just logotypes, but once in a while a designer comes up with a symbol that becomes so recognisable it can be used on its own. Paul Rand seen in this picture didn't come up with the apple logo, but he did design several other logos for apple, ibm and enron. A new tribute site has been dedicated to Mr Rand . Some of my favorites are the coronet brandy ads... a brand-y i wasn't familiar with, hic!
