A week later than promised... here is a selection of bedroom interiors I have been collecting in my "man drawer".

Another set found through Hei-Astrid, this is the home of designer Kristian Severin Skeien at Studio Skeie. I've been putting off decorating my flat for years, but now I've seen these pictures I want it just like this.
Capturing the geometric shapes of an unmade bed! Shot taken from above, found on the website of Swedish artist, Theresa Wendt.

There's something comforting about a log cabin, I've always been into the shag pile chic of retro ski resorts, although the image at the top here is far more sophisticated than anything i had in mind. The 2nd image is taken from the website of interior designer Suzy Hoodless That authentic rustic feel, with the stuffing coming out of the armchair, was by design i'll have you know! And unfortunately I lost the details of the bottom picture. I have a romantic notion that it's the interior of a russian dacha, but it's probably all props from a fashion shoot again.

And sticking to the Scandinavian tip, Hei-Astrid is a blog i came across by accident in my search for images for this set of posts. Astrid Hagen is a journalist/ copywriter from Bergen, Norway, and also takes these really pretty photos for her cute blog.

In a parallel universe, maybe i live a life with several houses in all my favorite places around the world. It would definitely include this Swedish cabin on the archipelago outside Stockholm. For now, in this universe, the home of designer Carouschka Steijffert. Images found on the remodelista website, from photos taken from Martin Lof.

We've been considering what makes a photo of an interior appealing. Luckily the blogosphere is jam-packed with snaps of intimate nooks and crannies. Maybe it's just voyeurism on my part, but i find this willingness or need people have to share the tiniest details of their daily lives and domestic surroundings touching. Going in search of domestic settings, the Selby steps inside the homes of various artists to take portraits of people in their homes amongst their possessions. I keep going back to the Selby and rate it one of my favorite blogs, so maybe I do just like snooping! Above, from the Selby is the Los Angeles flat of film director, art curator and writer Aaron Rose; and photographer Elise Nalin's Paris home.

The thick black lines of Paul Morrison's pictures reminded me of this style of tee that seems really popular all of a sudden and everywhere. In the style of some graphic novels I'm guessing and a neon version of old heavy metal artworks. Love the details. I found all the images through a UK blog dedicated to finding the best t-shirt artwork on the internet: tee hunter
This blog has been created to share design ideas. It's our homework. We have an idea, which we think some of you will like. It isn't fully formed, so instead of trying to explain with many words, we'll update you with the homework: the process behind the big idea. In the spirit of Rolf Harris - can you tell what it is yet?
